Sadly,letter writing has become almost a lost art. E-mails and texting have had a major adverse impact on letter writing. Graduates, even in English, frequently are unable to write a well-planned letter that is correctly laid out and grammatically free of errors. This excellent book is, therefore, highly recommended for all students and business people in particular.

Hopefully, CV's will also benefit as a result. Currently, many are an embarrassment to read and are quickly binned. The book is full of excellent tips and rules, is easy to read and contains many relevant examples of letters for all occasions. I recommend it without reservation. I can only recommend it. Much of this is common sense, the workbook was useful and the exercises should prove valuable to novice. Love this book and use it as a reference all the time.
